70 has only one fundraiser each year and that is our greenery sales program.
The troop is not supported by any other organization and must fund itself
entirely by profits made from our greenery sales.
Historically, every four years, the troop budgets to pay for half of the
cost for any Troop 70 Scout attending the National Jamboree. Scouts
received instructions and other information at the October 1, 2007 Court of
Honor. The
sales quota for each scout is a minimum of $500, approximately 18-24 sales.
A commission is earned for sales over the quota.

for specifics on the commission. All of the products we sell are fresh cut and shipped via refrigerated transport. The troop has been using the same supplier for the last 42 years. The quality is excellent. The following products will arrive around the first of December: New

inch wreath to be delivered to your out-of-town family, friends or business
associates. Cost, including mail, is $35.00 The
Holiday Centerpiece is approximately 18” in
diameter and comes with pinecones and evergreens in a bowl with moistened oasis
foam. Cost
is $18.00.
The
Garland is made of Western Cedar and is 10 feet
long. Cost

In response to
customer requests, we are offering a Holiday Wreath
which is approximately 28” in diameter.
It is made of Noble Fir and comes with a pre-tied bow and pinecones.
Everyone loved the size (Texas-Big) and appearance, so it is back. Cost is

should be submitted online before 5:00 pm on
the day of each scout meeting on Monday, October 15th; Monday, October 22nd, and
