Parents Participation and the Troop:

 The support and involvement of parents in Troop 70 is what has made the troop so successful throughout the years.  There are many ways that parents can be involved in Scouting and the troop. Your participation in some capacity is welcome.

Listed below are some of the positions in the Troop and North Trail District that you can volunteer your time and effort.  When volunteers for these jobs are solicited, please do not be bashful!

  • Troop Committee Chairman

  • Advancement Chairman

  • Camping Chairman

  • Fund Raising

  • Equipment Maintenance

  • New Scout Recruitment

  • Publicity

  • Ceremonies

  • Patrol Father

  • Merit Badge Counselor

  • Assistant Scoutmaster

  • Christmas Banquet

  • Picnic Drinks

  • Uniform Exchange

 

There are many other areas that parents can be of assistance that come up time to time. Please be ready to volunteer if you can be of assistance. You should try it. It might be fun.
